Blythe Hiss
Bio Blythe holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biological Sciences (concentration in Nutrition) from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina, and a Master of Science Degree in Movement Sciences (concentration in Applied Exercise Physiology) from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). Blythe has worked for both the Rehabilitation Engineering Research Center on Recreational Technologies and Exercise Physiology for People with Disabilities (RERC Rectech) and the National Center on Physical Activity and Disability (NCPAD) in the Department of Disability and Human Development at UIC for the past 4 years, as a graduate and research assistant and now as a project manager. Her most recent responsibility has been in the planning and organization of the State of the Science Conference on Exercise and Recreational Technologies for People with Disabilities which took place in Denver in May, 2006.
