Corporal John Peck Home in Illinois After Sustaining Injuries in Afghanistan

May 11, 2011

Corporal John Peck is back home in Antioch, Illinois after sustaining injuries in Afghanistan over a year ago. After his first injury in 2007, he returned to service and was injured during his second tour by an explosive device, losing both his legs and arms. Upon returning to the US he met with President Obama and recently was a special guest at a Chicago Bulls playoff game. Throughout everything he has maintained a positive attitude and said the only thing he wants is "Just say thank you. That's all I am asking for".
