Run Jump n`Throw

Brief Description of Your Organization's Activities:: 

The Run Jump n`Throw national youth physical fitness program is dedicated to promoting a healthy way of life for children and adults with a physical and/or developmental disability through active participation in sports and recreational activities.

The Run Jump n` Throw is a physical activity for school physical education programs; after school programs, and recreational programs to enhance the physical fitness levels of children and adults with a developmental and/or physical disability.  The main focus of the Run Jump n`Throw is to promote the Run Jump n` Throw program in the public and private schools in the United States as an inclusive activity promoting team work, team spirit and team success for all students and children participating this fitness activity on a daily level. Developing basic sports and recreation skills such as running, jumping and throwing are the basics for all sports and recreation movement, and the RJT program is based upon the teaching, learning and development of motor skills and physical fitness levels for all students with disabilities.

Run Jump n 'Throw's areas of expertise include:

1. Basic skills in running, jumping, throwing
2. Development of inclusive activities and programs for students and adults with a developmental and/or physical disability
3. Promoting the teaching of physical activities for students in grades 1-12 for students with a disability
