Description:
The Mission of Euro-Peds is to teach new and lasting functional skills that will create a better quality of life and health for the child who has non-progressive neuromuscular disorders through specialized intensive therapy, compassionate care, and education. Euro-Peds was established in 1999 as the first hospital-based clinic in North America using European-inspired intensive therapy techniques for the treatment of children & young adults who have cerebral palsy and other non-progressive neuromuscular disorders including Spina Bifida, Traumatic Brain Injury, Down Syndrome and a wide variety of other non-progressive gross motor disorders. As part of an accredited hospital, medical insurance is accepted. Euro-Peds National Center for Intensive Pediatric Physical Therapy offers individualized and specialized intensive therapy that includes up to 2 or 3 weeks of treatment lasting up to 20 hours per week. European-inspired techniques may include suit therapy and the universal exercise unit. Each child is thoroughly evaluated on their first day of their session, and a treatment plan is created to take them to their full potentials.
