The Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association (GLASA) believes that the quality of life should never be limited by a physical or visual impairment. GLASA believes that it is possible to remove boundaries, elevate expectations, fulfill dreams, enhance self-worth and empower individuals with disabilities in competitive and recreational sports. The goal at the Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association is to provide recreational and competitive sports activities for youth, teens and adults who have a primary physical or visual disability. GLASA promotes health and wellness in all of its programs with the ultimate goal of living a healthy lifestyle. Educational clinics are offered to the participant and family with subjects covering topics such as nutrition, peer mentoring, adaptive sports, etc. GLASA provides competitive and recreational sports activities for those with physical and/or visual impairments. GLASA is proud to offer water and snow skiing, kayaking, cycling, rock climbing, goal ball, wheelchair and ambulatory basketball, floor hockey, tennis, swimming, track, field, softball, judo, scuba, golf, horsemanship and much more!
