Description:
Mission: To promote and provide fitness, recreation, and sport for blind and visually impaired youth and adults in the Mid-Atlantic areas of PA., DE, and MD. BSO offers weekly instruction and training in Beep Baseball, Goalball, Judo, and Running. It also sponsors an annual: Sports Day; Sports Weekend; Ski Trip; and our major event - the Davidow Northeast Regional Games (a weekend of sports competitions and clinics). There is also an out of state trip to a water ski clinic. In addition we provide opportunities for those interested to attend national and international sports events for the blind through the US Association for Blind Athletes and the National beep baseball Association.
