Brief Description of Your Organization's Activities:: 
Easter Seals is the leading non-profit provider of services for individuals with autism, developmental disablities, physical and mental disabilities and other special needs.  For more than 85 years, we have been offering help and hope to children and adults living with disabilities, and to the families who love them.

Through therapy, training, education and support services, Easter Seals creates life-changing solutions so that people with disabilities can live, learn, work and play in their communities.

Easter Seals assists more than one million children and adults with disabilities and their families annually through a nationwide network of more than 450 service sites. Each center provides top-quality, family-focused and innovative services tailored to meet the specific needs of the particular community it serves. Services include over 80 child development centers, over 60 center-based adult day programs, over 200 medical rehabilitation clinics, over 150 early intervention programs, over  60 autism-specific programs, the nation's largest network of work force development programs, camping and recreation programs and other programs. Additionally, Easter Seals advocates for legislation the supports education, employment, research and services for individuals with disabilities and other special needs.
